If you were in the Z scene 8 years ago, I'm going to assume you have responsibilities and limited time. In that case be careful trying the part out. If you have been sitting around wishing you had a hobby, sure. go the part out route. know that most emails and calls will go nowhere. people will flake on you, jerk you around, reverse charges... some parts are harder than it seems to get off the car... etc etc etc. You probably would make more. If it were me, I'd take off any parts worth over 1k (wheels, big brakes, etc) and sell whats left for 1-3k depending on body.
